Point Pleasant Dharma Bums Lunch and Walk

Point Pleasant Dharma Bums Lunch and Walk

The reservation list for this event is full.

If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please call the Friends at 215-862-2021.

Join us for a mid-day summer treat as we stroll along the towpath in Point Pleasant and enjoy a healthy family-style lunch at the nationally recognized Dharma Bums. In March, this new restaurant and bar was voted one of the top places to eat in the country by the food writers at USA Today.

Our outing will begin with a 2+ mile round-trip walk along the towpath from Dharma Bums north to Smithtown Bridge Two. We will explore the village of Point Pleasant, walk on the longest aqueduct on the towpath, learn about the famous visitors to the Point Pleasant Inn (now Kolbe Antiques and Art) and pass by the award-winning landscape business of Walter’s Nursery before returning for lunch.

At Dharma Bums, we will enjoy a vegetarian and vegan-friendly family-style menu developed specifically for our event. The meal will include street fries, k-lote corn, quinoa salad, tacos and includes a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.

Tickets are $50.00 for members and $60.00 for non-members.

*Some menu items subject to change based on seasonal availability.
