Paddling the Canal

Paddling the Canal

We have one single kayak available for this event, otherwise it is full.
If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please call the Friends at 215-862-2021.

The Friends and Delaware Canal State Park naturalist Katie Martens offers this opportunity to paddle through a historic landscape. This two-mile round trip paddle will be through a section we have not kayaked before.

The Park staff will have 8 single kayaks and 2 tandem kayaks, equipped with PFDs and paddles, to loan. If you own a boat, we will have room for 4 additional privately-owned kayaks or canoes.

PLEASE NOTE

  • There is a maximum of 16 participants for this paddle.
  • You must be at least 10 years old to participate.
  • Anyone under 15 must be in a tandem kayak with an adult.

A $10 per boat donation is requested, payable on the day of the event. Reservations are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

Register here by June 6th

We are sorry but this event is full. If you would like to placed on the waitlist please email us at friends@fodc.org.
