The Friends of the Delaware Canal are headquartered in the historic Locktender's House at Lock 11 in New Hope, Pennsylvania. This 19th-century building, meticulously restored, serves as the first interpretive center within the Delaware Canal State Park. It houses exhibits, artifacts, and restoration details.
These items illustrate “Life at the Lock” and canal history, and are enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year. We encourage you to explore this website to learn more about the canal and the Friends, and to join us in ensuring that the historic Delaware Canal will remain a living treasure for generations to come.
